Church of the Holy Trinity

Krašić 118, Krašić
Tel: + 385 1 6270 003

The Parish Church of the Holy Trinity was first mentioned in 1334. The late Gothic church was remodeled in the Baroque style probably in 1759 and the belltower erected beside the western entrance in 1771. Between 1911 and 1913 the church was rebuilt according to the design of S. Podhorski. The Gothic sanctuary remained, but with a network ceiling and the bell tower was raised. On the spot of the old nave, a new, wider church was constructed, with a sanctuary and the nave with a tall spherical roof. The old sanctuary contains the Baroque altar from 1743 with a painting of the Holy Kings, and the new contains the marble altar designed by S. Podhorski. The church has a monstrance and a wooden relief of the Calvary, both in the Rococo style (about 1770).
