Chapel of St. Vitus

Samobor, Vrhovčak

The Chapel of St. Vitus on Vrhovčak is an old chapel built in the honor of St. Vitus the Martyr. The building has one nave and a rectangular floor plan. The bell was made in 1564, but the chapel itself was mentioned for the first time in 1642. In the sanctuary there is the main Baroque altar of St. Vitus from 1757. The left side altar is dedicated to Maria Magdalena and built 1758, the right altar to St. Lawrence.
